Bagel Bus Sign-up
We are looking for volunteers to help with our mission to end hunger for District 86 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is an opportunity to make a huge difference to hungry kids in our community, and it takes less than an hour! The sign-up sheet has all the details!

Our Annual Gift Card Fundraiser kicks off this weekend! From now through December 17th you can order gift cards through the church; you pay the face value of the card, and the church receives a percentage back to help fund our ministries. Order forms are available in the Welcome Center, or you can download it off of our website at yourchrist.org.
It’s simple; check out the list, decide on what you would like to purchase, and turn in your list with a check or cash (sorry no credit cards) to the church office. We will order your cards and have them here for you the following Sunday.
• Conquer your Christmas list and give everyone a chance to purchase what they really want or need.
• Purchase gift cards for places you regularly shop or dine, and use the cards all year long.
• Planning a large purchase or a home improve- ment project? Purchase Menards or Home Depot cards and really help out the church!
• Need a gift for the landscaper, snow removal guy, hairdresser, mail delivery person or sanitation engineer? We’ve got you covered.
• Purchase for when you need a last-minute or unexpected gift.
One other way to use gift cards is to support District 86 kids. We are very aware that there is a demographic of students at Hinsdale South High School that are severely under-resourced. We are currently helping them out by picking up bagels, helping them out with Christmas break food bags and are starting to support their “caring closet”. Pick up a WalMart or Target gift card for these families and help them with their holiday meals or gift giving. The school is also collecting gift cards to provide attendance incentive to students, as regular attendance is a huge problem at the school. $10 gift cards to local restaurants is another way to incentivize these kids. All gift cards that are do- nated will be credited on your giving statement.
