Regular Worship Schedule During the School Year

During the school year, Christ Lutheran Church offers two different worship experiences, tailored to what you and your family need.

The Contemporary Worship Service at 8:30 am offers a contemporary look and feel. This upbeat praise and worship service is offered to those who are looking for a more relaxed and informal style of worship. The Band begins the service by playing a contemporary song as a Call to Worship, leading into a welcome message. Connect with others with the Sharing of the Peace, which is a time to greet and welcome fellow people of faith. The Children’s Message is a time for kids to come up to the front, have a seat and hear God’s Message tailored just to them. No matter what age you are, the Contemporary Worship Service provides a chance for you to encounter God and find strength and encouragement on your journey of faith.

The Traditional Worship Service is a total experience that features the great hymns of our faith and beautiful choral and handbell accompaniment. It features acts of praise, confession, thanksgiving, proclamation and dedication. The sermons are biblically-based and seek to emphasize spiritual growth and Christian service. These services are traditional but not stuffy, holy but not solemn, and always welcoming. Those who attend find that it centers them in the Spirit of God, spiritually re-charges them for the week ahead, and teaches them how they can serve others.

Visitors can get an idea of what to expect, a statement of the tenets of communion, and a brief explanation of the cycle of readings.

Christ Lutheran Church offers a nursery, Children's Church, and Sunday School.
